Last Oct. 16th, Ítalo Martins participated as panel co-chair at the Global Conference of the New York State Bar Association – in which he serves as Brazil Chapter co-chair and International Section Global Executive Committee member – addressing “Current trends in M&A litigation” with Chris Semerjian (Dispute Resolution Partner at Fasken) and Jinhee Kim (Global Practice Chair and Head of the Global Dispute Resolution Practice at 법무법인 지평 l Jipyong). They discussed disputes related to earn-out clauses, expert determination, put options and buyout clauses, and dispute resolution clauses (arbitration vs. court litigation, mediation, forum selection etc.), drawing from their practical experience on complex and cross-border cases.
