Last Oct. 13th, Italo Martins participated as a panelist at the Global Conference of the New York State Bar Association – whose Brazil Chapter he co-chairs – addressing the regulation, challenges and potential litigation related to foreign direct investment in Brazil. Also participated in the panel Carl-Olof Bouveng (Cobolo Advokat AB), Monica Smith (Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz), Alvaro Aguilar, TEP (Lombardi Aguilar Group), Fernando Eraña (Pérez Correa González), Pedro Garcia Ampudia (Mijares, Angoitia, Cortes y Fuentes), and Monica Cortina Peresola (Department for Business and Trade).
