Sergio Mannheimer and Marcela Levy lectured in the event “A Day of Remembrance of Emmanuel Gaillard in Brazil”

On May 14, 2025, partners Sergio Mannheimer and Marcela Levy lectured in the aforementioned event, held in tribute to Emmanuel Gaillard. The event, which explored the theme “Ethics in International Arbitration” was organized by GBS Disputes and took place at the Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro.
Sergio Mannheimer lectured on the panel “Parties’ and Their Counsel’s Ethical Conduct”, where he addressed the topic sanctions for abuse of process, as well as shared his personal experiences with Emmanuel Gaillard. Marcela Levy participated in the panel “Non-Parties’ Ethical Conduct”, specifically addressing the ethical responsibilities of both party-appointed and tribunal-appointed experts.
